Our Story

Pooch Palace VIP all started when our founder Zoë struggled to find boarding facilities for her beloved pooches with a reassuring feeling of care and luxury that offered a home to home experience.

Zoë doesn’t believe our furry friends should spend most of their time in pens with concrete floors, especially when spending time away from pawrents, rather they should feel right at home and that’s exactly what Pooch Palace is built to provide.

With a rich history with all things pooch, currently studying a diploma in pet psychology and living on site, Zoë is well prepared to lead the team of loving staff at Pooch Palace and ensure a 5 star experience.

All about Care and Wellbeing

We pride ourselves on the level of care we provide for each and every guest. With a team of truly pooch loving people and secure facilities, we’re able to offer a very safe and positive environment to give you complete peace of mind during their stay while you’re away.

The wellbeing and happiness of our guests is our upmost priority and with training in dog first aid and level 2 and 3 qualifications in dog behaviour and animal management, we are trained and highly tuned to recognise the individual needs of each guest and how to best cater for them and provide the best care.

Since starting in 2018 we are very proud to have been awarded a 5 star rating from Shropshire Council and in 2021 ranked one of the top 6 kennels in the UK as a Pet awards finalist

Our Facilities

Luxury Accommodation

For our boarding guests we have a fantastic range of luxury suites all with their own unique theme so there’s something for every Pooch. All suites are complete with 24 hour CCTV, underfloor heating and large flatscreen TV’s to keep your pooch company all day long.

Woodlands and Agility Area

Our 5 acres of secure grounds is home to some stunning woodlands which is perfect for scenic daily walks and a paddock area for your pooch to roam safely as they please. For our more active guests we also have a dedicated large soft sand agility area for all your pooch’s favourite games. Both our daycare and boarding guests can take advantage of our outdoor facilities.

Indoor Play and Chill Areas

We have multiple indoor areas with luxury soft furnishings designed to offer those important home comforts, perfect for downtime and cuddles with out boarding and daycare guests. Off each of our lounges we have secure garden areas which your pooch to come and go at their own pleasure.
